Bancarella del libro all'Assistenziale di Johannesburg per aiutare gli italiani in difficoltà

Appello perché le scorte alimentari sono quasi finite -
L'Associazione Assistenziale Italiana di Johannesburg - informa la lettera ai sostenitori della presidentessa Adriana De Stefanis - ha aperto una bancarella del libro, grazie alla generosità di tanti donatori. Adesso i libri possono essere acquistati, letti e tenuti oppure rivenduti alla stessa bancarella a un prezzo pari al 25% del prezzo d'acquisto. Un altro modo per raggranellare i soldi che servono quotidianamente per affrontare le crescenti spese inevitabili per aiutare le famiglie italiane che si trovano in difficoltà economiche.
Nello stesso quadro rientrano le donazioni di generi commestibili che vanno nei pacchi che regolarmente vengono distribuiti agli italiani che fanno fatica a mettere insieme pranzo e cena. Le scorte sono al livello minimo e l'Assistenziale ricorda ai donatori che i bisogni non stanno diminuendo ma purtroppo aumentando continuamente.
Un grazie per tutte le cose donate che si possono vendere o distribuire a chi ne ha bisogno. Adesso che fa freddo sembra che le lenzuola, coperte e asciugamani non siano mai abbastanza per gli ospiti del Centro Ricreativo Anziani Italiani.
Sul fronte del lavoro, in questo momento si cerca un qualsiasi impiego per un disegnatore industriale di 69 anni di Johannesburg che ha bisogno di guadagnare.
Il 13 luglio ci sarà sull'ex circuito di formula uno di Kyalami un Ferrari Day e l'Assistenziale allestirà una sua bancarella per vendere i biglietti di una lotteria che avrà come primo premio un modellino della Ferrari 6V F1 e come secondo premio un modellino del Thumpa 70 Scrambler. I biglietti costeranno 50 rand e il ricavato sarà utilizzato per i pacchi viveri natalizi a una trentina di famiglie italiane bisognose.

Dearest one and all,
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for the wonderful books we have received. Now our little book shop is up and running. How the system will work is that when you buy a book it will have an AAI stamp in it and will be priced. If you trade in the book we will give you a 25% trade-in value on the purchase of new books. It’s just another way that we are trying to raise funds as the need for money is always on the increase to try and help our Italians that just find themselves in grave financial difficulties.
Further thanks go for the sewing machine and for the load of jumble that came in as well. Sheets, blankets and towels are always very useful for our senior citizens at the CRAI. We never seem to have enough.
Just a short reminder that our food bank is running fairly low and once again my gratitude goes to all that never forget us on a monthly basis.
We have a 69 years of age gentleman that is a mechanical draughtsman, but is prepared to do just about anything. He lives in JHB, is well spoken, well dressed and comes from a wonderful family.
On the 13th July 2013 there is a Ferrari Day at the Kayalami Race Track. We have been offered a stand there for our raffle. First prize is a FERRARI 6V F1 RACE CAR, second prize is a THUMPA 70 SCRAMBLER. Tickets are R50.00 each.
Please remember that the raffles are the means that we have to fundraise to buy food parcels for an odd 30 families for Xmas. Your generosity has always done us proud, so please call on some tickets. There are 10 tickets in a booklet.
Your donation of jumble is always appreciated and helps us with paying the short fall we have on a monthly basis running the CRAI.
