Raffaella Migliore verso il suo primo disco

Questa è una storia che ci tocca da vicino e non l'avremmo pubblicata se non l'avessimo trovata su un altro giornale. La protagonista è infatti una di famiglia, Raffaella Migliore, figlia di Stefano Migliore e di Dara Lee Derman e nostra nipotina. Ha vinto un concorso canoro organizzato dal gruppo di giornali comunitari "looklocal" della Caxton, che pubblica un'infinità di testate a Johannesburg e dintorni. La serata finale a Benoni si è chiusa con la consegna a Raffaella di un enorme assegno di 10.000 rand (foto), ma la cosa più importante è che nelle prossime settimane inciderà il suo primo disco per la Stone Studios International, produttore Rudi Massyn.
Raffaella non ha ancora compiuto 16 anni e canta da quando ne aveva 4. Il giornale del gruppo Caxton scrive di lei che "ha emozionato (rocked) la folla e conquistato i giudici subito dopo essere apparsa sul palco. Reinhardt Massyn, manager della Stone Studios International, l'ha definita una boccata d'aria fresca. Non succede tutti i giorni che una donna giovane come lei salga sul palco e ti catturi con la sua voce fin dal primo momento". La canzone che ha fatto vincere il concorso a Raffaella è stata scritta da lei stessa e musicata dallo zio Kevin Derman.
Inutile dire che noi della Gazzetta auguriamo alla nostra nipotina tanti successi e tanta felicità.
Bedfordview singing sensation rocks towards a win
At only 15 years old, she rocked the crowd and won over the judges within minutes after appearing on stage.
Raffaella was described as a breath of fresh air by Reinhardt Massyn, label manager at Stone Studios International.
“It's not every day that a young woman such as herself, walks on to a stage and just grabs you with her voice from the first moment,” he said.
He also added that she did not miss a note when performing her cover song during the first half of the evening.
looklocal would like to thank the sponsors, Stone Studios International (sponsor of the first prize), and Custom Events (technical sponsor of finals), for making the competition a success, and a special thanks to the MC, Sandile van Heerden, for entertaining the crowd when the power went out causing the show to halt for a couple of minutes.
Final results at the finals were audited by Rohan Louw of Moore brothers and Associates.
Raffaella will start recording her single with producer Rudi Massyn, of Stone Studios International, within the next couple of weeks.
Raffaella has been performing since the age of four, when she started ballet and guitar lessons, although she was originally interested in dance, she soon stumbled upon acting, which quickly became her main focus.
At the age of 13, her interest shifted to music when she started vocal training and piano lessons.
This has subsequently become her passion.
Throughout her schooling career, Raffaella has won numerous awards for her singing and acting abilities. In 2011 she was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to sing alongside Craig Hinds from Watershed.
